What We Do:

The role of the Ambassador is that of a good-will representative of the Trinidad & Las Animas County Chamber of Commerce. Chamber Ambassadors are always in the public eye. They make new contacts at chamber functions by meeting, greeting, and introducing themselves and their business. Being an Ambassador presents a great opportunity for participants to gain additional business exposure as they are the first to meet and greet Chamber members and get their business name out to them. This group attends various Chamber events with the intent of personally welcoming each and every guest at the event. A primary function of the Ambassador is to attend the chamber's Business During Lunch, Business After Hours and Ribbon Cuttings and other special events, including the Ambassador Progressive Dinner. Each year, one hard-working ambassador will receive recognition as the "Ambassador of the Year" at the Annual Membership Dinner & Awards Ceremony in February.

Monthly meetings are conducted on the second Wednesday of the month beginning at 11:30 a.m. at a specified restaurant in the community.

Steven is currently a real estate agent with Colorado Mountain Spirit and is also employed at Black Jack's Saloon, Steakhouse & Inn. He is a Trinidad & Las Animas County Economic Development board member and a City of Trinidad Tourism Board member. Steven is also on the Trinidad Arts & Cultural Commission board and the Trinidad Area Arts Council board. He has been an ambassador since 2010 and has volunteered endless hours supporting Chamber events, often with camera in hand. Thank you, Steven, for all you do for your Chamber.
